Amigo

"Amigo"  8year old 16.1 had Brown TB Gelding.  Amigo is currently green broke but is a good mover and shows a lot of promise as a hunter.  He is currently working on flat work, can swap both leads and is trotting small jumps.  Please call for more information and current price.

Owen

"Tell Me Lies" 6 year old 16.1 hand bay TB gelding.  This boy is still growing and should top out around 17.0 hands.  "Owen" is sweet as can be and should make an excellent prospect for any discipline.  He is working on his flatwork and is showing a natural aptitude for jumping.  He has some show miles in the Baby Green Hunters and Level 1 Jumpers.  He can easily do any ring- hunters, jumpers, or equitation and with his brave attitude to the jumps would be an excellent event prospect.  Please call for more information and current price.

Leases

Knights Royal Olympian

Available for On Farm Full or Partial Lease

"Knight" is the cutest small pony ever, with his cute little ears and muzzle he will win just about anyone over.  He is in training to become the perfect kids pony.  Although he is still green, he is one of the easiest horses or ponies we have ever dealt with.  He is ready to take an intermediate rider right to the top.  He is the hack winner and his form over fences is going to make him the pony to beat.  Ready to be the Walk Trot and Pet Pony Champion and then move on to the Short Stirrup and Childrens Hunter Pony divisions.

Unforgettable Max

"Little Max" is available for a partial on farm lease. He is super easy to ride and comfortable.  Max can take riders from the Walk Trot and Short Stirrup through the Children's ponies and has even showed in the Modified Adults and Mini Medals.  Showed IEA all winter and is ready to take you to the winners circle.

Romeo

Romeo is available for a Partial On Farm Lease. He has a great personality and is fun to ride. He is one of our most versatile horses and rides both english and western. He is ready to show at the Cross Rail or 2' level now and we expect him to become a great mini medal horse.

Fleur de Lis

Fleur de Lis "Lily" is available for an on farm 1/2 lease.  She is a 15.2 hand Trakhener cross mare.  Super comfortable and sensitive she is brave to the jumps and has some local show miles.  Lily is easy to work around and personable on the ground.   We are looking for an intermediate or advanced rider to 1/2 lease her because her owner has a busy career and can't get to the barn everyday. Please call for more information.

Many of our School horses are also available for Partial On Farm Leases.  Call for more info.

Some of Our Recent Graduates!!

I Love Lucy

I Love Lucy "Lucy" is an 8 year old, buckskin, medium pony mare.  One of our instructors bought Lucy for her children and to use in the school.  She has now become pregnant and will not be riding for quite a while leaving no one to keep Lucy's training going.  Lucy has a beautiful trot and is easy to work around.  She even went on a few hunter paces this fall.  She is still green and her canter does need some work as she can get off balance and quick.  She has a great personality and we even use her for lunge lessons for 5 year old kids and used her in camp last summer.  She is a steal for someone who can put the time and training into her and bring out her full potential.  Priced at $6,000.  We would also consider a trade for another pony who is currently ready for small children to ride.

Congratulations to Kiara of the The Rivers Edge Equestrian in Foster, RI.  We are so excited that Lucy found someone who can put the time and training into her.  Good luck with her!!!

Rocky

Rocky is a  15 year old 15.2 hand QH cross Gelding.  He has been a part of our school for the past 2 years and has always been a good boy.  He has taught a range of riders from beginner through advanced and gone to some local shows.  The daily rigors of being a school horse are starting to tax him physically and we want to find him a home where he can have an easier life.  Would make an excellent trail, pleasure, or 4-H horse.  Awesome dun color and great personality.  $1,500.00 OBO to great home.
Congratulations Amanda! We are happy that Rocky found a great home and wish you the best of luck in the future!

For Adoption through CANTER NEW ENGLAND
"Quindaro"

Congratulations Jennifer on the Adoption of Quin.  We wish you the best of luck with him.

Quindaro "Quin" is a 7 year old TB Gelding.  He is a big bodied 16.1 hands and is a very flashy chestnut with a stripe and 3 socks.  He also has distinctive white "birdcatcher" spots throughout his coat.  Quin came into the Canter NE adoption program after injuring himself at the track.  His trainer did not want to push him and donated him to Canter NE to help him find a home and a career post racing.  He rehabbed beautifully and spent a few years enjoying the trails with his adopter.  His adopter had to reluctantly return him to the program when circumstances in her life made it hard for her to keep him.  We have had him since Sept and been working on teaching him the finer points of riding and how to jump.  He loves to have a job and has taken very well to jumping.  We have used him for lessons with some of our more advanced riders and he has no vices around the barn.  Because of his old bow he would not be suitable for strenuous open jumping or eventing but should be suitable any flatwork discipline and low level hunters.  If you are interested in Adopting Quin or any other Canter NE Horse you need to become an approved adopter before you are able to come and see them.  The application and more information about Canter NE and other Adoptive prospects as well as horses available directly from their trainers can be found on their website www.canterusa.org/newengland/.

"Just Fine" JJ is an 8 year old 17 hand Thoroughbred Gelding. He is a good mover and jumper with show mileage at 2’6” including Championships in the Special Hunters and is ready to move up. He is quiet with excellent flat work and is scopey enough for the 3’6” divisions. He will make up to be an excellent hunter or equitation horse. JJ is a pleasure to work around with excellent ground manners and no vices.  ***** UPDATE******  We took JJ to the Saddle Rowe Horse Show on 4/21.  JJ was perfect all day winning both of his o/f classes and winning the Championship in the Low Hunter Division.
SOLD!!!!  Congratulations Chelsea Corson on the purchase of JJ.  Look for them in the Children's Equitation.

"Unforgettable Max"12 Year Old 14.115/16  Gelding.   Max has many miles in the Children’s Pony Hunters and the Mini-Medals and is still eligible for the Green Pony Hunters. Max is quiet enough for a beginner and would be a great pony to bring a rider from the Short Stirrup through the Pony divisions. He is a good mover and jumper and is also very handy in the Equitation ring. He has qualified his rider for all of the local Mini Medal Finals. Max is safe, sound, and well mannered; a great teacher who is looking for a new rider to bring along as he has been very sadly outgrown by his current owner.  Sold!!!  Clarion Farm proudly announces that Max will be joining our riding school.  He is available for a partial on farm lease.

'Fleur de Lis"  Lily is an 9 year old 15.2 hand TB cross mare.  She is an excellent mover and jumper.  She has very limited show mileage but has Trail Ridden and Hunter Paced.  She is green but excellent to the jumps with an automatic lead change.  She could go any direction- pretty enough for the hunters, fast and brave enough for the jumpers, and bold enough to event.  A sweet mare at a steal of a price.  Sold!!! Congratulations to Traci Brooks on the Purchase of Lily and Kelsea Monterotti who will  be 1/2 leasing her.

Bon Appetit known as "Meatball" around the barn is a 14 year old 11 hand POA Gelding.  We bought him as a leadline pony, but he seems to prefer more advanced riders than the 3 and 4 year olds he was intended to teach.  He can w/t/c and jump small jumps for an intermediate rider, but we really need a good beginner pony instead.  He would also make and excellent companion horse.  He gets along great with the other hoses and has lived in a herd before.  He is an easy keeper with no vices or health issues.  Sold!!!!
